1049 Yngve, Siena 6293 Mallard duck Where picture taken: San Francisco Zoo Date: 4/3/2026 Describe any special effects or you may have used and/or what you have learned: I learned that I can take better pictures of animals by getting closer to them so the picture is less grainy. Also, sometimes it can take patience to get good pictures of animals, such as waiting for the duck to lift its head so the picture would look nicer. Blue King Coopedup in Seattle
1049 Yngve, Siena 6294 Black-tailed deer Where picture taken: Hurricane Ridge Date: 6/17/2026 Describe any special effects or techniques you may have used and/or what you have learned: it can take patience to get good pictures of animals, such as sticking around long enough to notice a 4th deer. Being quiet and not making too sudden of movements can also help with getting pictures because it can make it so the animals won’t get scared and run/fly away. Blue King Coopedup in Seattle
1049 Yngve, Siena 6295 Snowy egret Where picture taken: Shoreline Park, Mountain View Date: 4/2/2026 Describe any special effects or techniques you may have used and/or what you have learned: I learned that usually bird pictures turn out better when the bird being photographed is not flying so that the picture is clearer. Being quiet and not making sudden movements can also help with getting pictures because it can make it so the animals won’t get scared and run/fly away. Blue King Coopedup in Seattle
